When:
May 13, 2017 @ 1:45 pm – 4:00 pm
2017-05-13T13:45:00-07:00
2017-05-13T16:00:00-07:00

This meeting is to review alternatives for our disinfection system for the Carlos Pinto project. Since this will be a very high-level and in-depth discussion, it’ll be a great opportunity for those less familiar with the project to get more involved. Don’t be afraid to drop by even if it’s your first meeting.

The meeting will be held at 8727 S. Priest Drive, Suite 104, Tempe, AZ 85284. To call in to the meeting, dial 857-232-0476. The participant code is 522-682.

I would advise everyone to review the information (provided by Larry Hanson) in the attached document as our discussion will be based on those points. Please print out the document and bring it to the meeting. I’ll have a few extra copies available as well just in case. If you have time, it would be helpful to compare that information with some of the literature available on rural water disinfection in developing countries. Both of the following documents, for example, have good comparisons of different disinfection strategies for use in developing countries: http://www.nrel.gov/docs/legosti/fy98/23110.pdf or http://www.ircwash.org/sites/default/files/243-98DR-15193.pdf

We also have water quality test reports available for the well water and several other points. Please let me know if you’d like a copy of those test reports and I can provide you with a copy.
